Sense Projects were engaged by Monash IVF to construct their new flagship facility in Sydney’s CBD. The project involved a 1200m2 commercial space conversion to a Day Hospital.
The project required a change of use from a Class 5 (commercial use) to Class 8 (Laboratory) and Class 9a (health and services facility) which consists of a Day Hospital and an Operating Theatre and Laboratory.
The project was a detailed design and build. Sense Projects relished this opportunity, and with the assistance of the Department of Health’s Consultants, Erbas Engineering & Greenbox Architecture, we were able to take our initial conceptual design through to a purposeful design facility that suited Monash IVF’s requirements and procedural flow.
