Sense Projects were engaged by EVC on behalf of Investa to project manage the make good and tower upgrade of levels 2, 6, 11-15 and 18 at 99 Walker Street, North Sydney. The staged works included whole floor refurbishments and fit-out works to part of level 6. Sense Projects worked closely with tenants, building manager, architect & project managers to achieve a high-quality outcome with minimal disruption. The end result was a contemporary look and feel which appealed to a higher calibre of tenants which resulted in higher rental yields and enhanced market value.
The works involved a full strip out and refurbishment of 8 levels back to base building standards, this included base building services – electrical, hydraulic and mechanical. A detailed program was pivotal to the success of this project. A short-range program was also included to itemize specific activities/trades to ensure the project would come in on time and budget. Our extensive experience in commercial refurbishments allowed the Sense team to successfully to complete the project in a tenant occupied environment with minimal disruption to the tenants.
