Sense Projects was engaged by TSA (formally EVC) on behalf of Investa to undertake refurbishment works on Levels 15 & 16 of 1 Market Street. The works entailed demolishing the existing fit outs and lift lobby areas, undertaking a make good of the existing base building, installing new ceilings and carpet, refurbishing the male & female toilets including new fittings & fixtures, new vitrified floor and wall tiles, new reconstituted stone to all bathroom vanity benches, refurbishing the lift lobbies and bringing all the services back to an open plan layout. The new lift lobby refurbishments incorporated the use of new set plasterboard ceiling and new reconstituted stone floors.

The works required significant flexibility, tenant consultation and the enforcement of diligent work processes, providing clear communications & reporting with all contractors to ensure a successful outcome for all parties. The greatest challenge that the upgrade works posed was handling the security constraints of the tenanted building, detailed planning and coordinating allowed Sense Projects to program the works accordingly.
