This project involved a full-floor office refurbishment within a live banking environment, carefully staged over four phases to minimise disruption to staff, customers, and stakeholders.

  • Client

    G&C Mutual Bank

  • Address

    210 Elizabeth St, Sydney 2000

The works included a major upgrade to front-of-house areas, new bathrooms, flooring, joinery, meeting rooms, and ceilings, with out-of-hours activities incorporated where required. Continuous access to the lift lobby, office spaces, and the customer banking facility was maintained throughout, while temporary facilities were provided, including customer waiting areas and a relocated teller cash recycler machine. All building and tenant systems remained fully operational for the duration of the project.

Delivered successfully in a customer-facing, operational environment, the project achieved zero downtime of critical banking infrastructure and no delays to the client’s program. Careful sequencing allowed business-as-usual operations to continue, despite the challenges of coordinating trades in a restricted, live workplace. Strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and rigorous safety and security controls ensured smooth transitions between stages and a high-quality outcome without compromising day-to-day operations.
